What’s New?
Hello Penguins,

I wanted to give you a quick update on the Treasure Book. When we first put this book together we wanted to give you the opportunity to collect some of your favorite items from Club Penguin that aren’t always available.

Because Christmas is coming soon, we thought it would be fun to update the book with a few seasonal items. Starting on Friday, Dec. 5 you will be able to use the codes you have from toys to unlock different items in the Treasure Book! The items that are currently there will still be available, plus a few different items.
As always, let us know what you think and even what items you’d like to see in the Treasure Book in the future!
Until then…Waddle on!

Hello Penguins!

The new Snow & Sports catalog is out–have you had a chance to check it out?  There’s winter items for your penguin, including ice skates–just in time for December events!

hockey.jpgSome of you have suggested the Ice Rink should return, and we thought it was a great idea, so in preparation we added skates to the catalog. In mid-December the Ice Rink will return, so you can put on your skates, get your buddies together and head over to the rink!
In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the winter sports catalog and be sure to let us know what you think!

Until then…Waddle on!

Hello Penguins!

So many of you are so excited about Coins For Change coming back December 12 – 22, and the team is really thrilled about all of your feedback. We’ve heard from a lot of you about how important it is that we all work together to bring change in the world. I wanted to tell you about the causes that we’re going to be donating to this year:

*Kids who are sick
*Kids who are poor and cannot go to school
*Kids without parents or who have been hurt by war

coinspic.jpgRemember, a total of one million dollars will be donated to those causes, and with your coin donations, you’ll help to decide how to split the money. Every coin matters so even if you can only donate a little, you’re helping to bring big changes in the world.

Let us know what you think.

Until then…Waddle on!

Hello Penguins!

It’s ready!! Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force DS is finished and we hope you’re excited about playing it! A DS game for Club Penguin is something many of you have asked about for a long time and we’re really excited that after many months of work, it will officially be available on Tuesday, Nov 25!

The Elite Penguin Force DS will come with a code that you’ll be able to use to unlock things online in Club Penguin, and using a WiFi connection you’ll also be able to upload coins you earn on your DS to your online account.

  • Amazon
  • Club Penguin Online Store

Sometime in 2009 it will also be available in some European territories–when I have specific dates I’ll let you know.

We’re really looking forward to your comments and feedback!

In Other News: Thank you for your patience over the weekend with the server issues and Card-Jitsu. The team is continuing to work hard to fix the server issues and we want to apologize for any inconvenience that this is causing — we really appreciate your patience.

Hello Penguins,

I wanted to thank you all of you for your patience this week with the launch of Card-Jitsu and the slow load times and server issues we’ve experienced. I wanted to apologize if you’ve had trouble or haven’t been able to play the game because it’s full. Because of  popularity of the new game, the servers are really busy and have slowed down as a result. I know many of you are very excited about the new game and have been looking forward to playing it with your friends.
The team is working hard to fix the servers so they can keep up and so you can continue your ninja training!
If you go to the Dojo and when you try to play Card-Jitsu you might get a message saying the room is full–it means Card-Jitsu is full. Try checking out the new play at The Stage or looking for the new hidden pin while you wait and check back to play Card-Jitsu a bit later.
Thank you again for your encouragement and patience.
Until then…waddle on!
